Report Card on the Media Handed Out January 17

Here's a chance to see the newsmakers up close and personal. And hear and see what they think about how the local media covered their story. The Society of Professional Journlists presents its annual "Report Card on the Media" on January 17, 7 p.m., at Point Loma Nazarene University.

Please be in your seat promptly at 7 p.m., as the program will be recorded for later broadcast.

This year's event is sure to have plenty of action and interest as the two confirmed panelists to date-Mayor Jerry Sanders and former city councilman Michael Zuchett will have plenty to say. After the grades are passed out the audience members can join in a lively Q and A session. You might want to keep the kids home for this one.

Two other newsworthy panelists will be joining the lineup. Seating is limited, so circle your calendar and RSVP to (who? ---if not jennifer I will be the sucker) Dennis Morgigno of Channel 4 San Diego will be the moderator for what is sure to be a most interesting hour.
