QUICK QUESTIONNAIRE - Caron Golden

What's your favorite place?
I've traveled to all sorts of amazing places, but there's just nowhere like New York City for me. It's impossible to be bored there.

What's your favorite movie?
Any great food movie, like "Eat Drink Man Woman," "Babette's Feast," "Mostly Martha" or "Like Water for Chocolate"

What book has had the most impact on you?
A Child's Garden of Verses. If not the first book I learned to read, it's one of the first-and I still have it. It was the beginning of everything for me.

Which words or phrases do you tend to overuse?
Oy! The others we can't print here.

What's your addiction?
In no particular order, Trader Joe's; buying books; Netflix; my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Shayna; and potato chips (which I've had to give up).

Whose shoes would you like to walk in for a day?
Maureen Dowd's-and I bet they'd be Manolos so I'd actually need a cab.

If you could have any other profession, what would it be?
A backup singer for James Taylor.

What topic gets you the most fired up?
Anything having to do with Bush, Rove or Cheney.

What one hidden truth would you most like to uncover?
What is my dog thinking?

What's your motto?
Hillel's powerful statement, "If I am not for myself who will be for me? If I'm only for myself what am I? And if not now, when?" Too serious? How about, "Let's eat!"
