QUICK QUESTIONNAIRE -

What's your favorite place?
Cape Cod. Also, my garage.

What's your favorite movie?
Immortal Beloved.

What book has had the most impact on you?
Twelve years old, Easter break, The Lord of the Rings. After that, I was hooked. I wanted to read all the time.

Which words or phrases do you tend to overuse?
Idiot.

What's your addiction?
Diet Coke.

Whose shoes would you like to walk in for a day?
A hobbit's (which is funny if you know anything about hobbits.)

If you could have any other profession, what would it be?
Popular or Even Semi-popular Radio Personality. Possibly broadcasting out of my garage.

What topic gets you the most fired up?
Idiots.

What one hidden truth would you most like to uncover?
I like odd historical questions. For example, it seems to me that an ancient Greek or Phoenician Trireme could have made it across the Atlantic to the Americas. I'd like to know if any ever did. Also, I wonder if Socrates ever knew any Jews, and if he did, what did he make of their belief in one God? Also, did the Apostle Thomas really make it to India? Also, did wild lions ever live in Europe? That kind of thing.

What's your motto?
I am way too lazy to have a motto. And I'm not really clear on the function of a motto. I think if you are going to have a motto you should really have a coat of arms to go with it. I think I would look ridiculous with a coat of arms, but I suppose if I had to have a motto it would be "Lower your standards."
